H.E.R.O. for Children is a non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for children infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Thank you to everyone who attended A Night for HEROs on October 20 at the Charles H. Morris Center. The event was an exciting first step towards changing the lives of children in Savannah affected by HIV/AIDS. We are excited to announce that seven local children will be able to attend Camp High Five on July 8-July 13 next summer.

Coach Richt served as an original member of HERO’s board and now serves as an honorary member. He rallies his players and UGA students, in support of these children.	Legendary Coach Vince Dooley serves as an honorary board member and promotes the HERO cause to UGA alumni and fans and alumni in the community.	Ms. Deen has taken time to co-host a H.E.R.O. event, while she and her sons raise financial support, and promote this cause through the media. Her sons have also attended HERO events.
